The warnings are clear. As recent cases have shown, we need to be careful about what we write on our social media pages. Wise advice is to consider any information posted on the Internet as being public, or easily made public.
For example, you may post something to be viewed privately by just your friends. But what is to stop those friends from re-posting to their friends, and so on?
So be careful. We should only share what we are happy for the world to read. And, especially, we need to be careful what we say about others. In this litigious society that has developed in recent years, we would not want to find ourselves in court.
