Wow! That’s amazing. Thank you, Martin. These grow abundantly here in Wales, especially alongside railway tracks, rivers and on waste ground. But it makes sense that they are not natives. So many wild plants were imported over the years, notably Japanese Knotweed which is now regulated as far as movement is concerned because of how prolific it is.

Not really. I thought it was the vetch family, but I also saw a similar flower under another name.

The woods near me are full of these. I’m in South Cambs. Would love to know what they are. They’re beautiful.

Proper name is Impatiens glandulifera Royle
